…or do they?
I’m not so sure how accurate this study is, but I’ve always felt that kids learn how to eat and what to drink from their parents. If parents lean towards eating fast food, salty foods, and consuming large amounts of soda, chances are the kids will do the same. It happens too often where if the parents are overweight, then the kids will have a higher tendency to be overweight. Now there are exceptions to every rule, so I’m not saying it’s 100%, but there is a higher likelihood that this will happen.

I highly recommend that if you’re really heavy and experiencing pain in your legs, start off with walking, and set yourself up with a nice walking routine that is adequate for you and your health. When you’re reading there are some great reasons to run, I have mine, but here is a post that details four general reasons why you SHOULD run.
